JUST A FEW FACTS
Seasonal cleansings have been a tradition in some people’s households for generations. Many mothers lined their children up for a dose of castor oil every few months to keep them strong and healthy. Before modern medicine had the advantage of the many pharmaceuticals available today; taking laxatives to clear the digestive tract was the strategy used by doctors during house calls to cure whatever ails patients complained about. Most of today’s society has strayed from these old home remedies.
Ideally your colon stays clear and healthy as a result of a healthy diet rich in fiber that prompts complete evacuation on a regular bases and replenishes healthy flora. Regularity can be disrupted by our hectic lives. Too many sugars, caffeine, not enough water, stress and a diet of processed foods, and red meats can be the recipe for an unhealthy colon. When complete evacuation does not occur, overtime toxic waste builds up. These toxins can become contributing factors toward developing chronic conditions and the discomforts that accompany chronic conditions, ie: fatigue, joint discomforts, headaches, etc…
Therefore the many benefits to regularly clearing the digestive tract, restoring healthy flora and keeping a healthy colon, include:
Increased Energy
Improved immune system
Improved Mood
Reduced risk for colon cancer
Weight loss
